I don't know how u guys feel about ice hockey but I thought I'd give this a mention as it is fekkin A. the graphics are ace, controls intuitive and if you want - simple (controls can be made simpler by switching button functions) its by far the most realistic NHL/Hockey game ever (I should know, I been playing them since '94 and I'm a Flyers fan Very Happy) I'd say try it atleast the demo is on both XBL and PSN so give it a go, and if you get it on xbox I might see u online too Dancer shame my Be A Pro guy got injured in only his 2nd match but hey...... Storm Injured Black eye

Here is a review of the game (sorry it's taken so long):

Graphics & Sound: The graphics are great, the reflections are realistic and even the cuts in the ice caused by hard turning on your skates stay on the ice during play. The in game presentation is spot on with the commentators Gary Thorne and Bill Clement being informative (without being boring) and occasionally funny. The menu music is ok, I prefer it off though as I don't like the soft rock they put on it. In game the music plays as though it is in the arena where you are playing (even with the organ which is a nice touch) but only when there is a stoppage of play. 10/10

Gameplay: The basics of the game are a little difficult to grasp at first especially if you have the sticks set up (ie; you use the analogue sticks to hit opponents and shoot on goal), if you opt for the button set up you will find the game alot harder, not sure why but thats the way it seemed to me. The board play feature which is new to the game is ok and works well, it can get you out of sticky defensive situations nicely and alternatively can get you timely offensive posession in their third of the ice. The best thing about it however is the AI Learning, a great feature ported from 09 where the AI learn your style of play forcing you to change tactics or pay the price (much like real life) it will even edit its line setup mid game to increase the difficulty. 10/10

Modes: The Be a Pro mode is a nice edition as you have to work up the reserves of your chosen NHL team as a single player created or real (otherwise known as the AHL, which has its own league and cup compo) then progress as a player earning bonus xp and status for achieving milestones (100 goals, 50 assists, 50 hits, +/- score), Be a GM mode is like Fifa's Manager mode, basically your task is to build a formidable NHL team and win trophies (this can take some time on harder difficulties). Online is good and stable but unless you are really good avoid the online leagues unless its a friends league(you'll get mullered otherwise). The EA world tournament and the Canadienes tourney are very nice and have good progression built in, the world tourney is my favourite though as I feel the National teams don't get as much limelight as they deserve sometimes. There is also a Play Off's and Stanley Cup mode which are also great additions. 10/10

Longevity: This kind of depends if you can survive the GM mode really, as each season is 82 games long and that's if you don't make the Play Off's. This game should keep you busy atleast until next season when the next version of the series arrives. Once the basics are mastered this game is a dream to play, I urge anyone who hasn't atleast tried it to do so, you won't regret it I promise (or if you do there's always ebay Laughing )
9/10

Total Rating: 39/40

to add, here's a video of me as Finland Vs Switzerland in a Pool B knockout game, enjoy (ok its only a goal but still nice)
